How do I care for my Buddy Belt?

Buddy Belts are made of leather. Before using the Buddy Belt, it is highly recommended that you treat your Buddy Belt with a water and dirt-repellent product for leather. If your Buddy Belt gets wet, let it dry at room temperature. Never put the harness in the dryer or place it on the radiator. If the Buddy Belt becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth and then let it dry.

Can the dog swim with a Buddy Belt harness on?

It is not recommended to let your dog swim with a Buddy Belt harness on. The water will not affect the operation of the harness, but it may damage the leather and rust the metal items. Salt water is especially bad for the leather .

Putting on the harness is very easy, just place the Buddy Belt on the ground and place the front legs in the holes. The buckle is always on the left side of your dog.

Then put the Buddy Belt around your dog's body and fasten it between your dog's shoulder blades. You have the right size when there is enough room to fit two fingers under the harness.
